The Family Empowerment Program provides immediate food and financial assistance to those in need in Polk County. The program offers case management to support and empower individuals and families to move from dependence to independence. Certified financial coaches help clients develop financial, educational and employment plans.

1. Make an appointment - Always attempt to make an appointment. Oftentimes this will save you hours waiting in lines. When on the phone make sure you ask for the documentation needed in order to receive assistance.
