Full Description:

Provides help with basis emergency needs with utility assistance, mortgage/rent and food. Eligible households are provided financial assistance in the form of payments to utility vendors for utility assistance. Emergency food and/or shelter services are available to eligible individuals through the FEMA program. HRDC coordinates with the Wiregrass Area Food Bank through its Brown Bag Program, and the HRDC also provides emergency food from its pantries to individuals in crisis.

Hours: 8:00 am-4:30 pm, Mon-Fri

Tips For Prompt And Professional Assistance
1. Make an appointment - Always attempt to make an appointment. Oftentimes this will save you hours waiting in lines. When on the phone make sure you ask for the documentation needed in order to receive assistance.

4. Bring all pre determined documentation - Bring all of the documents you were advised to bring from your appointment phone call. Without them, you will not receive aid.
