Full Description:

Emergency Home Energy Assistance for the Elderly Program (EHEAEP). Provides financial assistance to senior citizens for heat/electricity. Helps clients who have final notices for electricity being turned off or with past due amounts going into final notice.

To be eligible: At least one individual in a household 60 years or older and must meet income criteria.

Tips For Prompt And Professional Assistance
1. Make an appointment - Always attempt to make an appointment. Oftentimes this will save you hours waiting in lines. When on the phone make sure you ask for the documentation needed in order to receive assistance.
