The Salvation Army Morganton provides some financial assistance in emergency situations. Must have a disconnect notice for help with utilities, must have an eviction notice for help with rent and mortgages, must be a burn-out victim and provide a report from the fire department if need help with furniture and clothing may be received only once within a 6-month period. Photo ID and Social Security Card Required to obtain assistance.
