General Relief
General Relief provides aid and care for indigent poor with no other means of support and who are NOT eligible for other federal, state or local programs. Unless verifiably incapacitated, recipients participate by working to repay the funds. Recipients must be Sutter County residents.

1. Make an appointment - Always attempt to make an appointment. Oftentimes this will save you hours waiting in lines. When on the phone make sure you ask for the documentation needed in order to receive assistance.
